"William Dixon, SR, died on the 10th day of June 1838, leaving no widow surviving him, but that he left 10 children only surviving him, whose names are: Nancy Hawk, Hannah Robbins (now deceased), Elizabeth Mann, John, WILLIAM,JR, Amos, Josiah, Thomas, James, and Harrison Dixon."
