Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, 1965

Mrs. Zona Henley, 88, died Monday at her home at 506 W. Court St. in Eldon. A daughter of John and Diana (Bilyeu) Wyrick, she was born Sept 3, 1877, at Tuscumbia. On July 4, 1897, she was married to Cordial C. Henley, who died April 14, 1957. Mrs. Henley was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church.

Surviving are three sons, Otto of Kansas City, Kan., Jasper of Eldon and Truman of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Basil Buster of Eugene, Mrs. Joseph Ballard of Little Rock, Ark., and Miss Jewel Henley of Eldon; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) at the Eugene Christian Church with Roy WEece officiating. Burial in Spring Garden Cemetery under direction of Kays Funeral Home of Eldon.
