Warren was born in Edgeley, N.D., on July 21, 1924. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy, serving with Underwater Demolition Team #26, among other duties. He was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Loretta Pfarr on June 27, 1946, and together they had two sons. He had a long career in banking, primarily serving as president and director of Manhattan Bank for more than 60 years. Serving others was a guiding principal of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Loretta, whom he had known since age 13, and sons, Kenneth (Barbara) and Daniel (Kit) Fenno, along with six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a brother.
His faith and trust in the Lord were very strong and some of his treasured last words were, "The Lord is in control."
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all of the caregivers and friends who helped and prayed for Dad over the last month.
