"Victoria Bryant State Park was opened in 1952 when Paul E. Bryant of Royston, GA dedicated 45 acres of land as a memorial to his mother, Victoria Osborn Bryant. The park has grown from the original 45 acres to 499.98 and offers visitors picnic areas, fishing, camping, hiking, golf and swimming.
The historic significance of the park began long ago when the Cherokee and Creek Indians once roamed and hunted in the hills and valleys of the area. The park is located among rolling hills with a large creek flowing through the middle. The creek has a natural rock slide in the shoals area."
