To the many who knew Mrs. Alice Clevenger, wife of Claude Clevenger, of Tyler street, Gary, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wittig of Parrish ave., this city, will be surprised and grieved to learn of her death which occurred at Gary on Sunday, following the birth of a babe ten days old, influenza pneumonia set in a few days after the babe came home and there was little hope of combatting the disease in her weakened condition. Her loss is a great one to her husband and another child, a girl four years of age, besides the parents, brothers and sisters. The deceased was in her 30th year. The funeral services will be conducted in the Lutheran rites from the Williams' undertaking chapel in Gary this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
