Beatrice C. Bryant, 76, of 5917 N. Sherwood Ave. died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1928, in Grenada, Miss., to Reid and Ella Smith Crowder, she married James Bryant on Nov. 21, 1947, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are three grandsons whom she raised, Joshua (and Nera) Bryant, Jason (and Barbara) Bryant and Justin Bryant, all of Peoria; and two sisters, Irene Miller of Phoenix and Alberta Wysinger of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary, one brother and three sisters.
She co-owned Jim Bryant General Maintenance Co. and BJB Enterprises Inc. for more than 45 years.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
