Mrs. Emily I. Phelan

Mrs. Emily I. Phelan, 91, of Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Asbury, and formerly of Cascade, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 1990, at Heritage.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade with burial in the church cemetery Rev. Fred Fangmann officiated.

There was no visitation. The Till-Kitchen Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Emily was born October 24, 1898 in Cascade, daughter of Joseph and Clara Tucker. She grew up and lived in Cascade all of her life, and was married to James P. Phelan April 22, 1930. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1964.

She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary for 40 years.

She was preceded by her husband James, her parents, two step-daughters, two stepsons, three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
