Mary Christine "Mollie" Pace was the daughter of William Holt Pace and Elizabeth Howell Pace. Mollie was crippled and never married. She lived with her brothers, and when her sister, Martha Flewellen "Flew" Hudgens, passed away from cancer in 1899, Mollie essentially raised Flew's son, Isaac Tillman Hudgens.
