Born June 29, 1915, in Galesburg to Clifford and Maude Robertson Field, she married Dale E. Stafford on Jan. 15, 1937, in Galesburg. He died July 5, 1981.
Surviving are one son, Jerry (and Frances) of Elmwood; three daughters, Elaine (Mrs. Bob) Steffen of East Peoria, Karen (Mrs. Sherman) Bennett of Kewanee and Helen Stafford of Washington; two brothers, Gale (and Helen) Field of Galesburg and Lee Field of Henderson; and one sister, Clella (Mrs. Dale) Richmond of Rio.
She was a homemaker.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
