Lillian, one of twin daughters, was born in Iliad, Montana February 10, 1920. She did her schooling at Coffee Creek, Denton, and graduated from high school in Buhl, ID where her father had a harness and shoe shop. She attended college in Weiser, ID.
Later she worked as a carhop at Pete's Place in Great Falls where she met her husband, Earl Bourne. They were married at St. Ann's Cathedral on February 25, 1941. She was a homemaker who had many talents. She drove a gravel truck for Earl's family's sand and gravel business. She was an accomplished seamstress. She spent many years volunteering at Our Lady of Lourdes Church being the Sacristan, President of the Altar Society and Home and School Association and participating in other church activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, two named Frank, Joseph, Elmer and Stanley; sisters Margaret Ployhar, Mildred Siron, twin sister Emily Bronec and Frances Taborek; Earl, her husband of 70 years; tragically a son, Charles, in 1963 with bone cancer; and grandson David Bourne.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
