Lorene was born December 4, 1919 in Warden to Phillip and Ottilie (Rauter) Herrmann. She married Claude E. Campbell on March 17, 1939.
She loved being a farmer's wife and drove combines, wheat trucks, cooked harvest meals and helped with the roundup of the cattle. She loved visiting with people, playing cards and having fun talks with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed golf and was an avid Mariners fan. Lorene went south in the winter for the last 34 years. She had many wonderful, long-lasting friendships in California. Lorene also had many friends and appreciated the good care she received at the Monroe House in Moses Lake.

Lorene is survived by one daughter, Sharon Briney, Othello; two sons, Doug Campbell, Warden and Dean Campbell, Moses Lake; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Campbell; one sister, Viola Michel; and her parents, Phillip and Ottilie Herrmann.
