Marjorie R. Albertsen, 97, passed away on January 9, 2015, at her home in Port St Lucie, FL.
Born in Illinois, Marjorie loved being a resident of Florida, living in Ft Pierce and Port St Lucie, since her retirement from Northern Trust Bank in Chicago IL where she was a well respected senior executive.
Marjorie worked at Northern Trust Bank for 25 plus years from 1946 when she started her career as a Training Instructor for the Staff Training Division and rose up through the ranks to being named Second Vice President of Personnel in 1968, a title she held until she retired.
Marjorie was very active in professional organizations while in Chicago and enjoyed the arts, music and plays, and traveling in the US and abroad in her retirement.
Marjorie is survived by her predeceased second husband's grandchildren, Michele Gillaspie, Edwardsville, IL and Michael Stanley, Glasgow, KY.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Albertsen, 1977 [1982], and second husband, W. Howard Main, 2012.
A mass will be said in her honor at her grandchildrens' respective churches and she will always be remembered with love in their hearts.
