Ramon David Dangerfield, 37, 2970-3165 East, office manager of McGhie Abstract and Title Co. and active civic worker, died Wednesday morning in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness.
Born May 11, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Mr. Dangerfield was a son of Ernest A. and Margaret Phillips Dangerfield. He attended Salt Lake schools and was graduated from the University of Utah.
Mr. Dangerfield was a veteran of World War II, having served three years in the Pacific area.
He married Arline Eleanor Lambourne April 22, 1943, in Paso Robles, Calif. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Active in sportsmen and conservation groups, Mr. Dangerfield was a past secretary of the Big Game Committee of the Utah Fish and Game Commission and a past president of the Beehive Wasatch Bow-hunters Club.
He was also a former regional vice president of the Utah Land Title Assn. and secretary of the Salt Lake County Abstractors Assn.
Survivors include his widow; his mother; four sons, Scott Richard, Joel Ramon, Kim David and Cory Charles Dangerfield, all of Salt Lake City.
Other survivors are a brother and four sisters, Sidney E. Dangerfield, Mrs. Virginia Dontas, Mrs. Keith (Phyllis) Hansen, Mrs. Donald (Lorna) Hague, all of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Adamson, Magna.

DANGERFIELD -- Funeral services for Ramon David Dangerfield will be held Saturday 12 noon in the Holladay 15th Ward Chapel 3070 Nila Way (2700 E. 4170 So.). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary 260 East South Temple Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the ward chapel 1 hour prior to services. Interment Memorial Gardens of the Valley.
