Funeral services for Mr. Arnold Edward Anders will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove with the Reverend William Moden officiating. Interment will follow at the McGaha Memoral Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends beginning at 8:00 am until 9:00 pm Saturday, January 15th and 8:00 am until service time, Sunday, January 16th at the funeral home.
Arnold Edward Anders was born November 24, 1921 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents: Edward Dallas Anders and Verrillo Hammett Anders; daughter, Kathy Sue Hilton; brothers, Okley Anders and Joe Anders; sisters, Mavis Anders, Elma Anders Sawyer, Ollie Mae Anders Aaron, and Helen Anders Aaron.
Mr. Anders is survived by his wife Mrs. Geneva Freeland Anders of Oak Grove; his son, Edward Earl "Eddie" Anders and his wife, Melody Anders of Oak Grove; his son, Joey Anders and his wife Robin Anders of Oak Grove; grandson, Joey Anders Jr. and his wife, Brandi; granddaughter, Christina Denton and her husband Jeremy; grandson, Charlie Anders and his wife, Heather; grandson, Daniel Anders and his wife, Heather; grandson, Eddie Anders Jr. and his wife, Felicia; granddaughter, Pamela Beeson; two great grandchildren, Lee Denton, and Cayden Anders, and numerous other great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be friends of Mr. Anders.
