Died at Bellemont, Kansas, April 24, 1879, Mr. Charles Quinn in the 38th year of his age.
Those who knew Mr. Quinn best, loved him most. Kind, generous and gentlemanly at all times, he left behind many friends to mourn his earthly departure. For him to die was gain. He is not deceased for god took him. He died in triumph of faith and long before the last enemy laid his cold hand upon him, expressed a strong desire to depart, and with Christ, which is far better. We cannot but believe that he has laid down the cross to take up the crown.
