He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 769th Military Police Battalion.
Mr. Reece was a member and trustee of Harmony Baptist Church.
The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2004 in the Harmony Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Emmert Cemetery.
