Obituary for J.C. Brashars
J.C. Brashars 75 of Shepherdsville passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
He was a native of Brinkly, Arkansas, a retired employee of Publisher's Printing and a member of Carve Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Morgantown, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Lucille Brashars, a son Mark Brashars and a brother Wilbur Brashars.
He is survived by his wife Betty A. Brashars, his children Debbie McStoots (Jack) of Leitchfield, KY, Denada Smtih (Shaun) of Shepherdsville and Brent Brashars (Lilian) Leitchfield, his siblings Betty L. Brashars of Shepherdsville and David Brashars (Brenda) of Jeffersonville, IN, his grandchildren David Kelso, Brandi Tarrence, Samantha Thurman, Jamison Brashars, Ellie Smith and Adam Rigdon, his great grandchildren Ayden Davenport, Lelan Thurman and Chase LeMaster.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Laswell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.
