Thomas Hall Jr was born on April 13, 1918 in Moore County, Tennessee, the son of W Thomas Hall Sr (1891–1988) and Merlie Lee (Johnson) Hall (1897–1989).
A Master Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps, he was married on November 8, 1943 Robbie Carmine Turner (1920-1996).
He was a member of the Rocky Glade Cumberland Presbyterian Church, was a retired teacher and had earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his Master's degree from Peabody University. He had taught at WR Bass School, and North High School and Wright Junior High School before his retirement.
Thomas was 96 years old and living in Eagleville, when he passed away on January 19, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife and had no immediate survivors.
Funeral Services were held at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, and burial was in Rocky Glade Cemetery.
