Dell Francisco Carter, age 48 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday April 1, 1993 at the VA Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He served in the US Navy where he was involved in being a Presidential Honor Guard. He was a member of American Legion Post 619 & was a bus driver for RTA for 10 years. He was an avid fisherman & artist.
He was preceded in death by 3 daughters Elena, Carmen & Sarah; parents John F. and Violet M. Carter; 2 brothers John C. and Lowell E.; sister Barbara L.; grandson Dell F. Carter II. Survived by wife Victoria K. Carter; daughters & sons-in-law Aurora J. & David Fazel; Della R. Carter; Dreama & Jerry Maberly; 5 grandchildren: Carmen, David, Adam, Aaron & Kohl; brothers Alfred Carter Sr. & Homer E. Carter Sr.; sisters Marjorie Koffman & Patricia G. Rieder; 1 aunt, 5 uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & close friends. Services were held 10 AM Saturday April 3rd at the Eastview Church of God, 5289 Burkhardt Ave, Reverend Zeke Grigsby officiating. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends called at Hetrick Nethers Funeral Home, 15 Wampler Ave, from 5-9 PM on Friday April 2nd.
