Mary Helen Pokorny, married Joseph Patrick Kavanagh, son of James Kavanagh and Margaret Byrne, on 12 August 1903, in River Forest, Cook County, Illinois. Mary and Joseph were the parents of five children known, Joseph F., Margaret K., James Patrick, Mary Alyce and Francis A. Kavanagh ~

Mrs. Mary Kavanagh, 80, of 1637 N. Ayers Ave., died yesterday in her home. She was the widow of Joseph and the mother of Joseph, assistant night foreman in the black and white engraving department of The Tribune, and James and Francis, employed in the Tribune roto-etching department. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Alyce Kavanagh and Mrs. Margaret Bronke. Services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at Maternity B. V. M. Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery BELmont 5-4047 ~
