Graduated from Keene High School in 1957, Dartmouth College in 1961 where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and graduated with a BA in history and later earned a MBA from Rutgers University. He served in the US Army Intelligence Corps from 1961 to 1964 in LaRochelle, France.
Bob, or "Sully" as he was known to his friends, was a long time member of the Montclair Golf Club. He was also a member of the Orleans Yacht Club and the Mercier Club. He was a parishioner of St. Cassian Church. He was a National Sales Manager for Allied Signal and Weldeton Corp early in his career in the plastics flexible packaging and aerospace industries. He was vice-president of sales and marketing for Allied Apical, Lifelines Technology and the Loveshaw Corp. In retirement, he founded HP Solutions, his own consulting firm.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marcy, daughter Morgen and son-in-law, Michael Collis, a brother Edward, sister-in-law, Elizabeth, a nephew, Michael and two nieces, Marnie Renda (Chris) and Katherine Saunders (Matthew). He was predeceased by his brother Daniel.
Mr.Sullivan passed away at the Milstein Heart Center of NY Presbyterian Hospital.
