EDNA McFARLAND
Edna Jackson McFarland, 62, died Monday, February 8, 1999, at the Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Salem.
She was born April 19, 1936 in Hebron, the daughter of Lorenzo and Nellie (Woodard) Jackson.
She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Salem. She was a former employee of CB Sports in Salem, Sherwood Medical Corporation in Argyle and a past member of the Salem Resue Squad.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Arthur McFarland. He died in 1989.
She is survived by five sisters, Rosa Campney of Manchester, Vt., Catherine McFarland of Salem, Roberta Martelle of Wells, Vt., Doris Goodspeed of West Pawlet, Vt. and Joyce Tudor of Florida, three brothers, Donald, Harold and James Jackson, all of Rutland, Vt., and a special nephew, David L. McFarland Jr. of Salem.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad.
Arrangements are by McClellan Funeral Home in Salem.
