Havre Pioneer Dies After Operation
Havre, May 23--Mrs. Esther M. Sheehan, formerly of this city, died in Seattle Wednesday, following an operation undergone in that city a short time ago. The remains will be brought to Havre and funeral services will be held at the Catholic church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock and interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Sheehan was the wife of Mike Sheehan who died several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Sheehan came to this country 25 years ago and filed on a homestead just north of the Milk river. They were prominent ranchers and well known by old timers in northen Montana.
Mrs. Sheehan is survived by three daughters, Mary A. Beaudreau, Catherine Card and Anna E. Carnal, all of Seattle, and one son, George F. Sheehan of Omaha, Neb.
