Bessie was born Oct 08, 1931 to Sally Mae Baker and George Hyde Sr. She worked many years as a cook for Hickman High School. After retiring from Hickman, she worked at Osco Drug.
Bessie was a member of Calvery Baptist Church, Columbia Mo and later a member of the Higbee Baptist Church where she was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
Bessie was married to Leonard Sexton in October 1947, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers; George Hyde Jr., James Hyde, Samuel Hyde, Charles Hyde and Robert Hyde; sisters; Mary Nienke and Lena Craig; and one granddaughter; Jennifer Kaneer.
Bessie is survived by her sister, Lillian Davis; children, Sharon Clark, Nancy Kaneer, Carl Sexton and Brenda Robertson; 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
