TSGT KENNETH BESCUP U.S. Air Force, Retired Kenneth Valentine Bescup, 82, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 29, 2014. Born Jan. 17, 1932, to Valentine Thomas and Geraldine Catherine (nee Mogren) Bescup in Minneiska, Minn., he was a 42-year resident of Las Vegas. He married the love of his life, Rita Marie Amend, June 27, 1953, in Portage, Wis. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired at Nellis AFB in January 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, William and Robert. Rita, his beautiful wife, of over 61 years, survived him for two days. Ken is survived by his children, Catherine (Bob) Carey, Thomas (Lori) Bescup, Timothy Bescup and Patrick (Roxanne) Bescup; grandchildren, Kristin (Frank) Macreno, Kelly (Justin) Stephenson, Patrick (Joy) Bescup, Zakary Bescup, Cody Bescup and Devin Bescup; great-grandchildren, Dominic Macreno, Hayden and Kamryn Stephenson, and Isabella Bescup.
