RITA BESCUP Rita Marie (nee Amend) Bescup, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 31, 2014. Born Aug. 15, 1934, to William Oscar and Anna Marie (nee Vesley) Amend in Portage, Wis., she was a 42-year resident of Las Vegas. She married her soulmate, Kenneth Valentine Bescup, June 27, 1953, in Portage. He preceded her in death by two days. The ninth of 11 children, Rita was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth, Bernard and Norbert; and sisters, Anna Mary, Regina, Cecilia and Aileen. Rita is survived by her children, Catherine (Bob) Carey, Thomas (Lori) Bescup, Timothy Bescup and Patrick (Roxanne) Bescup; grandchildren, Kristin (Frank) Macreno, Kelly (Justin) Stephenson, Patrick (Joy) Bescup, Zakary Bescup, Cody Bescup and Devin Bescup; great-grandchildren, Dominic Macreno, Hayden and Kamryn Stephenson, and Isabella Bescup; brothers, John (Patti) Amend and Larry (Marty) Amend; and sister, Barbara (Gary) Schroeder.
