Margaret was born around 1625. I do not know for sure who her parents were and her last name is based on the Woodhouse's that had many dealings with Margaret and her first husband William Capps. She married William Capps about 1649 in what was then Princess Ann County, Virginia. They had three sons together: Richard, Henry and William. William died in 1665 and Margaret remarried very quickly to a man named Dennis Dawley. She had three daughters with him: Jeane, Sarah and Elizabeth. her second husband dies in 1687. She wrote a will on September 21, 1696. Her will was filed with the courts in May of 1701. In her will her children are named as William Capps, Richard Capps, John Dawley, Jeane Woodhouse, Sarah Cannon and Elizabeth Jones. Son Henry had died in 1688.
