Mrs. CLARA SPIDELL, wife of Clinton Spidell, died at 8 o'clock Saturday evening, at her home, 36 Summer St., from cancer, aged 55 years. She had been failing for the past three months but had been confined to her bed only one week.
She was a native of Ohio and was a Miss Foster. Mrs. Spidell was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and a well-known and esteemed lady.
Her husband survives.
The funeral took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock; services at the house; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
