Cathy Landis, 48, of London, died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, in the Arbors at London Nursing Home. Born Dec. 1, 1954, in Springfield, she was a daughter of Edith (Weese) Mitchell and John Henry. She had been employed at the Eagles Aerie No. 950 in London and had been a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Madison Memorial Post No. 105 American Legion Auxiliary and a life member of the HV Christopher Post No. 1176 VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, George Landis; daughters Cathy (Thomas) Fout of London, Christina (Lelon) Caudill of South Charleston, Brandy Landis of London, Victoria McCoy of Mansfield, Margie Swisher of Mechanicsburg, Penny Clay of Willard, Jackie Landis of Willard; son Charles (Susan) Landis of London; 18 grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Patty) Henry of South Vienna, Ronnie (Sharon) Henry of South Charleston, Larry (Fran) Henry of London, Paul Richard Henry of Mechanicsburg, John "Buster" Henry of Mechanicsburg; sister, Freada Henry of Springfield; grandmother, Edna B. "Granny" Henry of South Charleston; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, John S. Henry. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, London. The Rev. Joe Johnson officiated. Interment followed in Paint Township Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2.
