He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence & Beulah Mae Powell; his wife Sue Tester Powell; 2 sisters Dorothy Gail Morgan & Beulah Kathleen Humphrey.

2 brothers Dewayne Powell of Sturgis, KY Bobby "Buddy" Powell of Hammond, IN
1 sister Louise Cornwell of Atlanta, GA

Graveside service and burial will be conducted at 1 PM Friday 1/30/15 at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, KY, with Rev. Mike Demoss officiating.
Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis is handling arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
