Carol A. Uzzolino, 85, of the Holiday City South section of Berkeley Twp., passed away on Friday January 30, 2015 at Community Medical Center. Born in New York City, she lived in Leonia, NJ for many years before moving to Toms River in 1986. She was an administrative assistant with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co in NYC for almost 40 years retiring in 1982. She was a former member of the Holiday City South Glee Club.
Carol was predeceased by her husband Matthew in 2000. She is survived by her loving sister Genie Logan; two nephews, Gregory Davies and Keith Colacurto (Petra and their daughter Valentina); three nieces; Corey (Jim) Damerell, Andrea Colacurto (and her daughter Alexandria), and Rosie Colacurto.
Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday February 1, 2014 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service be celebrated at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be private and burial will take place at a later date at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
