Joan P. Socall, of Cadillac, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Arbor Grove assisted Living in Alma. She was 94.
Joan was born August 6, 1920 in Highland Park, Michigan to Joseph and Esther (Seymour) O’Connor and they preceded her in death. On November 9, 1940 in Indiana Joan married Edwin M. Socall and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2000.
She is survived by her children: Ronald (Sandy) Socall of Spanaway, Washington, Pamela Byberg of Mt. Pleasant, Gerald Socall of Cadillac and Edwin Socall, Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Joan was preceded in death by a daughter in law, Bonnie; son in law, Michael Byberg and grandchildren, Stacy and Wayne Socall.
