Robben, Janet Beatrice, 50, Lower Truro, passed away November 2nd at the Q.E. II Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Windsor, she was the daughter of Murray and Mary (Caldwell) Wile. Janet was an outgoing and giving person; a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and daughter. She enjoyed being at home and was an avid Blue Jay’s fan. She worked 31 years at the Best Western Glengarry in Truro. She is survived by her partner of 19 years, Kenneth DeCoste; daughter, Sara Lindsay; son Michael Lindsay; step-daughters, Amy and Holly DeCoste; grandchildren, Shannon, Ember, Austin; sister, Linda Montena; brothers, Howard (Elaine), Dean, Terry, Gary (Doris), Scott (Lucy); brother-in-law, Eric (Sharon) Sandeson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Christine Sandeson; nephew, Jason Wile. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6th at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro followed by a celebration of her life at the Best Western Glengarry, 150 Willow St., Truro.
