Luther Rose, 53, of Dayton, Preble County native and former resident, died Monday at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was an employee of Inland Corp., at Dayton.

Survivors include the widow, Lucetta; three sons, Osa of Richmond, Frank and Arnold of Dayton; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Miller of Marshall, Mo., 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Darley of Eldorado and James of Englewood.

Services for Mr. Rose will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Barnes Funeral Home, Rev. Henry T. Barnhart will officiate, with burial in Monroe Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
