Undated/Unsourced Obituary for Fred Rose
Fred Rose, 67, 8448 Ohio 726, Eldorado, died Saturday afternoon as a result of injuries suffered in a bicycle-van accident which occurred about 1 p.m. on ( ) 500 north of Ithaca in Darke County.
A native of Campton, Ky., he had retired in 1975 from General Motors-Delco Moraine Division, where he was a member of the 25-Year Club. He was a member of the Barron Street Church of God in Eaton and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Friend Rose; one son, Frank Rose of New Paris; one daughter Janice Barnhart of Eldorado; one sister, Rachael Bolinger of Eaton; one brother Sterling Rose of Richmond, Ind., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (today) at Barnes Funeral Home Horne-Eaton Chapel, with the Rev. Dean Mouk officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery at Eldorado with military graveside services by the American Legion.
