Janna Wolf was the daughter of Jan Wolf and Anje Jans. She was married to Lambertus Slob on 8 Oct 1887. Together they had 9 children. The family immigrated to USA on 31 Aug 1902. They first settled in Souix Center, Iowa. Lambertus two brothers - Pieter and Albertus - were already living in Iowa. The family moved to Grand Rapids, Mich in 1906.
Lambertus and Janna were divorced on 11 Nov 1919. In the divorce document, the spelling of the last name is Slobe. After the divorce, Janna returned to using her maiden name and moved to Muskegon, Michigan with the younger children. Most of the children changed their last name from Slob to Janna's maiden name, Wolf.
