Nancy Hammond Consort (Wife) of
Samuel B. Hammond
born in Warren County, N.C.
Nov. 7th, 1778
Departed this life October 8th, 1853
Aged 74 years, 10 months & 21 days.
She left a very large number of
Children, Grandchildren
and an affectionate Husband
to mourn their loss
Also numerous Friends who
appreciated her many virtues.
It was her great delight to relieve
suffering humanity;
clothe the naked and feed the hungry.
A more affectionate Mother
never lived and died in the triumph
of the Christian Faith
and a member of the Baptist Church.
