Betty Joanne Vieira, 77, joined her loving husband, Richard, in heaven on February 9, 2015, peacefully at her home in Ballico, California.

Betty was born on August 21, 1937 in Hughson, California. She was the youngest of nine children. Shortly after graduating from Hughson High School, she married the love of her life, Richard Vincent Vieira. Together they had three healthy boys, and moved to Turlock where they worked on their dairy. In 1979, they moved their family dairy to Ballico. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never forgot a name or birth date and always put others first.

Betty is survived by her sons, Richard (Sue) Vieira, Brian (Renee) Vieira, and Jeff (Diane) Vieira; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many more family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Turlock Funeral Home Chapel, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock, with interment in Turlock Memorial Park. Immediately following the committal at the gaveside, a reception will be held in the Turlock Funeral Home Hall.
