Robert L. Radabaugh, 83, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 following a short illness. He was born January 23, 1932 in Burk, West Virginia.

Robert graduated from Arthurdale High School in Arthurdale, West Virginia. He served in the United States Navy from 1952-1956. He retired from the City of Elyria as Operator of the Elyria Waste Water Treatment Plant where he worked for 26 years. Previously he was employed at Fruehauf Trailer Company in Avon and Harshaw Chemical Company in Elyria. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law Lois Radabaugh of Grafton; granddaughters Tanya Estepp of Grafton, Tamara (Ed) Spiekerman of Wakeman, Terri (Matthew) Popek of Grafton; six great-grandchildren Brooklynne and Austin, Blake and Amanda, Alexia and Trenton; sisters Beulah (Wade) Wolf, Katherine DeBastiani, Norma (Jack) Brown, and Leona Hardy, all of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents William H. and Augusta (Miller) Radabaugh; grandson Todd Radabaugh in 1973; wife Mary Radabaugh (nee Adams) in 2001; son Gary Radabaugh in 2010; brothers Harold, Dennis, Kenneth, Darrell, and James; sisters Wanda Radabaugh, Doris Fortney, and Margaret Harris.

Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday, February 18 and 10-11am Thursday at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Darrell Myers of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon. Military Honors will be performed by VFW Post #1079 of Elyria.
