Bob "Mr. Bob" Custer, of Des Plaines, Passed away Fat Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Marcy nee Wood. Loving father of Amy (Terry) Forbes and Rebecca (Steve) Creighton. Dear son of Geneva and the late Robert Custer. Fond grandfather of T.J. and Cody Forbes. Dear brother of Jay Custer and also survived by his loving Canine friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org, P.A.W.S. www.pawschicago.org or Canine Companions, www.cci.org would be appreciated. Visitation Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. The funeral will then proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church in Park Ridge for 12:30 p.m. Mass. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
