He was born February 25, 1940 in Bath County, Kentucky, the son of the late Herschel and Jewell (Young) Shetterly. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin brother, William Shetterly and son John Keller Shetterly.
John is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Pegge Shetterly; his two daughters, Elizabeth (Frank) Wachter, Lisa Shetterly; two sons, Jack (Beth) Shetterly, James (Charlotte) Shetterly; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
John was formerly employed with Dupps for 25 years.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
