Married Marie Tessier Feb.20, 1708 in Montreal (Notre-Dame)

Paul was originally buried at the cemetery of Notre Dame church. Diocese archives reveal that (most of) that cemetery was moved in the early part of the 19th century to Saint Antoine cemetery (today's Dorchester Square) and then to Notre Dame des Neiges in 1854. Recently, starting in 2001, archaeological discoveries reveal that not all the graves from the original Notre Dame were moved and some 199 graves were found and moved to Notre Dame des Neiges between 2001 and 2006. Other graves certainly still remain undisturbed. Thus, Paul's grave may still be at Notre Dame or he could have been moved to Notre Dame des Neiges in 1854 or 2006. Family seeking to visit the place of Paul's grave may wish to visit all three possible places of internment: the Basilica grounds, Dorchester Square, and/or Notre Dame des Neiges.
