He was born Feb. 8, 1966 in Pocatello, to Dennis C. and Floretta Johnston Howell. He attended Pocatello schools and graduated from Highland High School where he excelled in football and baseball. He also played city league softball was an avid skier, waterskier, hunter and motorcycler, and also enjoyed playing the drums.
He was a priest in the Pocatello 37th ward, LDS Church, and a Welder's Helper at W. H. Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his parents of Pocatello; 3 brothers, Kelly B. (Vickie) Howell of Salt Lake City, and Douglas J. (Jari) Howell and Jeffery L Howell, both of Pocatello; and two sisters, Mrs. Bret (Denise M.) Hansen and Derra D. Howell, both of Pocatello, Grandparents Laird L and Grace Johnston of Hemet, California.
He was proceded in death by his brother Dennis C. Jr. and Grandmother Vera Johnston , and Grandparents Jesse and De Esta Howell.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at the LDS 37th Ward Chapel on Highway 91. Burial will be in the Firth Cemetary the family will receive friends today from 7:00 till 9:00 pm at Manning Funeral Chapel and Tuesday 1 hour prior to service time at the 37th Ward Chapel.
