Michael "Mike" Rose, 55, of Highland, Ill., born December 29, 1959, in Troy, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at his home in Highland, Ill. Mike worked for United States Steel for over 37 years as a melter and was a member of United Steel Workers Union 1899. He was a member of Highland Masonic Lodge 583 AF & AM, Bodies of the Scottish Rite Valley of Southern Illinois, Ainad Shriners, Ainad Shriners Drum and Bugle Corp. He was a graduate of Triad Schools Class of 1978, and the Highland Sportsman's Club.He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dale Rose Sr.; his brother, Thomas A. Rose Sr.; grandparents, Odis F. and Beulah, nee Carr, Rose, and Alice, nee Richardson, Hackney.Surviving are his wife, Debbie McKinney of Highland, Ill.; son, Regan Rose of Highland, Ill.; daughter, Megan Rose of Pierron, Ill.; mother, Rosemary, nee Mount, Rose of Alhambra, Ill.; brother, H.
