Richard Jaroscak, age 89, of Burnsville Minnesota, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 31, 2012 after a short, courageous battle with cancer.

 

Born July 27, 1923.

 

After completing his service in the Army Air Force as a radar technician, he went to work for Northern States Power Company and retired from there after 37 years.

 

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His greatest joy was being surrounded by them all. He will always be remembered by his great smile and joyful laughter. We will miss him every day.

 

Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley, and children, Joel (Theresa) Jaroscak, Jody (Bob) Ramsay, Jackie (Rob) Constantine, Jill (Dave) Barilla and Holly Melroe. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Richard, Ryan, Tesha, Kayla, Clay, Colter, Liv, Abby, Bo, Clara, David, Emily and Ben, brother, Peter Jaroscak, sister, Babe (Bob)Wills, sister-in-law, Joan Jaroscak, and other relatives.

 

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Jaroscak, brothers, Joseph (Sophie), Frank (Adelaide), and Daniel and sister Gladys (Bob) Marquardt.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hansen Mortuaries & Cemetery hansenmortuary.com
