Mae Daisy Abel, 74, of 1115 Maish Ave. died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Des Moines General Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Waukee Cemetery.
Mrs. Abel, a homemaker, was born in Lucas County and lived most of her life in Des Moines.
She is survived by her husband, Dorvil; a daughter, Elnora Steffen of Long Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
