He was a native of Louisville, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 5421 and St. Martha Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, five sons, three daughters, a brother, a sister, 20 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
