Frederick Fabbo, 72, of Belchertown, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015. Born in Orange, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Ferdinando and Grace (Bedore) Fabbo. He graduated from Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School in New Jersey. Fred began his career as an estimator and worked his way through corporate engineering positions before retiring in 2000 from ABB in Houston, Texas as Vice President of Project Control. He was married to the late Carol Fabbo for 50 years, who sadly passed away in 2014. Together they owned Belchertown Garden Center for 9 years until they decided to close the business at the end of the 2013 season. Fred leaves his loving children Christine Fabbo and Michael Fabbo, both of Ludlow; adored grandchildren Austin and Marissa Fabbo; devoted brother Steve Fabbo and sister Olivia Fabbo, both of New Jersey, and is predeceased by beloved brother Sam Fabbo. He also leaves to cherish his memory many loving extended family members and dear friends in New Jersey and throughout the country. It was Fred’s request that he be cremated with memorial services to be held privately by his family at a later date. Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center has been entrusted with his care and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Wounded Warrior Project @ www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
