She was born to Capt. Samuel Sanford and Sarah Meeker. On 14 Feb 1762 she married Timothy Sanford of Joseph and Catherine (Fairchild) Sanford. They had an infant daughter who died in 1769 and then had Huldah Sanford Olmsted (1770-1817), wife of Timothy Olmsted (1767-1846).
