Katherine Kahahawai, 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on February 7, 2015. She was born on the island of Maui, in the city of Makawao. Katherine was a Retired Laundress. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine F. Gaspar, Jacqueline E. Ryder, Donna M. Pregillana, and Mona Rae Kealoha; sons, John E. Silva, Jr. and Raymond H. Silva; step-daughter, Hannah Napua George; step-son, Arthur Kahahawai, Jr.; sister, Cecilia Duxbury; 33 Grandchildren, 79 Great-Grandchildren, and 20 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on February 27, 2015 at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be at 9am and service will begin at 10am.
Private burial to be held at a later time.
Casual attire suggested.
